In 2023 Fiat debut two new electric models. One of them will B-SUV closely related to the Jeep Avenger that according to some rumors it could be called Fiat 600. A model that could complement and then replace the current Fiat 500X. Of course, we only know that this car will be built at the factory in Tychyin Poland, where the Jeep Avenger is made.
A new loader of this model was detained during development tests on German roads. The prototype still looks disguised, but some aspects of its overall design can be seen.
Looking at the pictures you can see some elements resembling 500X starting with the round shapes of the front LED headlights. The rear is also very reminiscent of the current 500X. In addition, there are classic handles on the doors, indicating that there will be no solution flush with the body. Since the Fiat 600, or as the manufacturer will officially call it, will be closely related to the Jeep Avenger, its length will be very similar. So, let’s talk about 4.10 m.
The new spy photos also let you take a look at the interior of the car, where there appears to be a dashboard bearing various similarities to that of the electric Fiat 500. Of course, there will also be a large central touchscreen display for the infotainment system.
As for the mechanics, there should not be any special surprises. Therefore, you should choose a powertrain that the Stellantis Group uses on many of its latest electric models. let `s talk about one 115 kW (156 hp) generating set with 260 Nm of torque, powered by a 54 kWh battery for autonomy, which will be about 400 km. And if we talk about the battery, then the confirmation of its capacity is the label on the car, which indicates 54 kWh.
The new model will also be sold in endothermic version? Some rumors speak of this possibility for some markets, as has already happened with the Jeep Avenger, which is also offered in Italy and Spain with a petrol engine.
