catcher has just begun deliveries to Europe of its Ocean electric SUV. At the same time, the car manufacturer shared more technical details on the One/Extreme versions, which will be the first to reach customers. So, finally, we can learn more about the batteries and charging of the electric SUV.

DIMENSIONS AND BATTERIES

There pulling force is 1820 kg. Ground clearance with 20-inch wheels is 165mm. Again with 20-inch wheels, the approach angle is 15.9 degrees, the departure angle is 20.3 degrees, and the breakaway angle is 12.9 degrees.

The power unit of these versions, as we have long known, consists of 2 electric motors with a total power of 410 kW. In terms of performance, Fisker claims 0-100 km/h in 4 seconds and maximum speed 205 km/h. The power unit is driven battery 113 kWh (it is not specified whether this is a total capacity or a useful one). Previously, the manufacturer indicated that this battery uses NMC type cells (nickel-manganese-cobalt). On the other hand, the base model Fisker Ocean Sport will be able to count on a smaller battery with LFP (lithium iron phosphate) cells.

In terms of charging time, Fisker previously reported that the Ocean SUV can be DC charged with up to 250kW of peak power. Now, the brand has announced a DC fast charging time of 33 minutes and 6 seconds. The range is 707 km on the WLTP cycle with 20-inch wheels. With 22-inch wheels, the mileage is reduced to 701 km.

As for European prices, we recall that in Germany, for example, the Fisker Ocean electric SUV starts at just over 43,000 euros (Sport model). Extreme requires 67,272 euros. In Italy, this electric SUV is not yet available.
