Russian hacker group “Solntsepek” claims to have stolen important files through YuGOK, without which it would be impossible to supply weapons to Ukraine. Focus found out if that was true.
“Body armor, armored vehicles, drones, DANA and Zuzana 2 howitzers will now receive less from the Ukrainian Armed Forces thanks to our hack,” the cybercriminals claim on their telegram channels. They have released an archive of documents that allegedly caused the Southern Mining and Processing Facility to no longer operate due to the theft. Focus does not recommend downloading this archive to anyone, as it may contain “gifts” from hackers.
According to the Russian hackers, they managed to “destroy more than 30 servers (databases, backup systems and software updates) and about 2,000 computers”. Russian cyberterrorists also claimed that they paralyzed the logistics, management and production control processes of the enterprise.
Focus Addressing the YUGOK press service, YUGOK Foreign Communications Director Mikhail Korsakov replied:
“We have heard this message. At this time, there is no information about global breaches of the security perimeter of the organization’s computer systems. If there were attack attempts, they were repelled and all consequences were eliminated. There is no “failure” logistics” or “material failure”. All YuGOK systems are operating normally and computer networks are securely protected.”
Previously Focus He wrote that Ukrainian hackers found the only photo of an intelligence officer from the Russian Federation wanted by the FBI.
