Maserati will attend Goodwood Festival of Speed 2023 (July 13-16), where two new cars will debut: Ghibli 334 Ultima and Levante V8 Ultima. With these limited edition models, Maserati intends to pay homage to the V8 engine that will end its career at the end of 2023. More than 100,000 V8 engines have been produced from 1959 to the present day, and they have found their way into just as many vehicles.
Therefore, these models are preparing to make Maserati history as they will be the last to feature a 580-horsepower V8 biturbo.
Thus, the Ghibli 334 Ultima will be present in Goodwood, which, thanks to its bi-turbo V8, is capable of develop a speed of 334 km / h (326 km/h Trofeo version). According to Maserati, it is the fastest mass-produced endothermic sedan in the world. In order to optimize the car also in terms of improved acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h, which has increased from 4.3 to 3.9 seconds, careful work has been carried out on the weight and tires. The Maserati Ghibli 334 Ultima is equipped with new high-performance tires made from a special compound. The aerodynamic improvement is complemented by 21-inch Orione wheels and a carbon fiber rear spoiler. The rims and center cup are painted in a new matte dark graphite color with a ruby trident that stands out in the dark, while the brake calipers are finished in high-gloss black.
The Levante V8 Ultima will also be introduced with the same engine and exclusive trim. The look is defined by the V8 Ultima logo embossed on the fender, with a ruby color that echoes the trident hue on the glossy black center cup, with wheels and calipers in the same paint. 22-inch Orione wheels complete this special edition. Like the Levante Trofeo, the V8 Ultima version features a standard carbon fiber exterior kit, front and rear bumper covers, and side skirts with carbon fiber inserts.
Both cars will take part in the ascent of Goodwood Hill. Maserati will build 103 Ghibli 334 Ultima and 103 Levante V8 Ultima. Prices are not disclosed.
