The Samsung S95D QD-OLED TV panel has a special hard coating that not only fights against glare but also preserves image depth.
At CES 2024, Samsung presented the S95D QD-OLED TV panel, which journalists immediately called the brightest in the world. Veverge states that the device has a really high brightness level and even direct sunlight is not a problem.
The new Samsung TV is covered with a special film, but this is not the only film that provides anti-glare protection. The TV panel itself has a special coating. The company calls this “low-reflection OLED technology.” The surface of the screen is covered with some hard materials. The company doesn’t say exactly what it is. At the same time, the picture does not lose any depth or detail. The viewing angle is also in perfect order.
The Samsung S95D TV will be available internationally in a variety of sizes. The maximum will be 77 inches diagonally. The screen refresh rate is 144 Hz and the color rendering will be controlled using artificial intelligence algorithms. The TV panel is very thin – only 11 mm.
