We don’t know much about this new model. Of course, there will be some small aesthetic changes that will give the car a more aggressive look, but without any shocks. As for the power unit, we don’t have much information. There will likely be a dual electric motor, perhaps 250 kW (340 hp), which powers the ID.4/ID.5 GTX.

All you have to do is wait a few days to find out more.

The new Volkswagen ID.7 Tourer GTX will debut in two days. So we’ll have to wait a little longer to see the ID.3 GTX, but this battery-powered car is expected to debut soon.

Spy photos that have emerged over time have suggested that the GTX model will have some slight aesthetic differences, especially at the front with a slightly modified bumper to give the car a more sporty look. The real news will be the introduction transmission as much as you can.

At the moment there is no exact information, but there are rumors that there should not be a dual engine, and this choice would be made primarily due to the issue of cost. However, it is possible that Volkswagen decided to use the new APP550 unit, which was already presented, for example, on the ID.4. We are talking about an engine capable of developing a power of 210 kW (286 hp). This would be a major step up from the current 150 kW (204 hp) unit we see in the top of the range ID.3. Everything will always be powered by the 82 kWh battery (77 kWh used).

It is clear that to get an accurate idea of the technical characteristics we will have to wait for the official presentation of the car. Obviously there will be changes to the chassis and tuning to improve driving dynamics.
