MINI began production of the new endothermic Cooper at its Oxford plant. With the start of construction of the fifth generation of this model, deliveries of the first copies will begin in the spring of next year. The MINI Oxford plant plays an important role in the BMW Group’s production network. In fact, starting in 2026, the company is preparing to build two new all-electric MINI models: the new electric MINI Cooper and the MINI Aceman crossover.
Announced last month, the new MINI Cooper with a combustion engine will be the third member of the new MINI family, joining the new electric MINI Cooper and the new MINI Countryman. The new model is offered in MINI Cooper C and MINI Cooper S versions. The first is equipped with a 1.5-liter turbocharged three-cylinder engine with 115 kW/156 hp. and a torque of 230 Nm. The model is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.7 seconds. The MINI Cooper S is offered on the market with a 2-liter 4-cylinder turbo engine producing 150 kW/204 hp. and a torque of 300 Nm. Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h takes 6.6 seconds.
The interior is designed in a minimalist style, as in all recent MINI models. Thus, we see a dashboard dominated by a 9.4-inch round central OLED display, from which you can view vehicle information (there are no classic instruments) and control all the settings of the infotainment system.
How much does it cost new endothermic MINI Cooper in Italy? Prices start from 28,900 euros (Delivery package is included in the price).
