The representative of the Ministry of Defense, Ekaterina Chernogorenko, said that in the near future the Reserve+ application will receive five new functions. According to her, a kind of “online TCC” will appear in Ukraine.
For Ukrainians liable for military service, the need to personally go to regional recruitment centers (TCCs), carry a bunch of documents there and wait in line from 5 a.m. will soon be completely eliminated. Instead of the complicated and outdated military registration process, a new one will appear, based on the update of the Defense Ministry’s “Reserve+” application. Deputy Defense Minister Ekaterina Chernorenko told the Ukrainian National News (UNN) agency how the old military registration and enlistment offices will disappear and an “online TCC” will appear.
Chernogorenko explained that the Ministry of Defense plans to transfer all services provided by the TCC to “Reserve+”. Thanks to this, citizens will not need to come in person every time to get a “document”, for example, to enter the military medical commission (MMC). Some of the updates will be in effect before the end of 2024, a department spokesman told reporters.
“The Ministry of Defense has an idea to turn the ‘Reserve+’ application into an online TCC so that all services available in the TCC can be received through the application,” the official was quoted as saying on the portal.
What functions of military registration and enlistment offices will appear in the application:
- Receiving a transfer to VLK;
- online recruitment;
- record;
- deferment registration for large families;
- deferral registration for students.
The first phase of these functions will appear in the fall, Chernogorenko said.
The Deputy Minister of Defense also spoke about the update of the application and the possible appearance of an online TCC during the presentation of the Army digital application. In his speech, he recalled the queues in which men have been standing since 5 a.m., the “pile of paperwork”, the “chaos of military records”, the fact that 700 thousand people are on fake wanted lists and the hesitant bureaucracy that disappeared after digitalization.
It is also worth noting that on August 8, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine presented the Army+ application, which was discussed in 2023. Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky announced that the army will no longer have to deal with filling out a large number of documents. Thanks to the application, fighters will be able to submit electronic reports and solve some of their personal issues. During the presentation, representatives of the Ministry of Defense explained that, for example, with one click they will be able to apply for leave or cash benefits or receive a referral to the Military Military Commission.
We remind you that in Ukraine, on the portal of state electronic services “Diya”, a new tool has been introduced, which starts the procedure of digital reservation from mobilization. The lawyer also warned that citizens should personally monitor whether information about the reservation appears in the Oberig records.
