DR took advantage of Turin Motor Show 2024 bring DR collection line accessible on DR 3.0, DR 5.0, DR 6.0 and DR 7.0
The DR 3.0 collection features retouched, sportier lines and interior. However, in terms of engine, nothing changes compared to the current DR 3.0. Thus, we find a naturally aspirated 1.5 petrol engine with 116 hp, also petrol/LPG.
The same applies to the DR 5.0 Collection 1.5 Turbo CVT, whose internal layout has been completely updated compared to the DR 5.0 CVT.
The main innovation was shown in Turin This is the DR 6.0 Collection plug-in hybrid with 316 hp.It features an updated look compared to the base version, especially at the front thanks to a cleaner grille.
Under the hood we find A 1.5 turbocharged petrol engine with a power of 108 kW combined with two electric generators with a power of 55 W and 70 kW.. Technical equipment also includes 19.3 kWh battery which allows you to travel to 80 km electric only.
The hybrid powertrain of this model has different operating modes: with one electric motor at low speeds and with a charged battery pack; with both electric motors at intermediate speeds, with a charged battery; increased range, with two electric motors connected in series, one of which recharges the batteries, at low speeds and when the battery charge level is low; in parallel with the internal combustion engine and two electric motors during acceleration; only with the internal combustion engine when the battery charge level is low and the speed is high.
Obviously, there are various driving assistance systems such as adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking, lane change warning and more. The DR 6.0 Collection Hybrid Plug-in is 4,513 mm long and has a top speed of 180 km/h. Prices have not been announced.
Compared to the DR 6.0 model, two additional seats have been added. In fact, it is a 5+2 configuration. With a length of 4700 mm, it is equipped with the same transmission as the DR 6.0. The price is 41900 euros.
The car manufacturer also offers the DR 7.0 collection, which differs from the DR 7.0 in some aesthetic details.
