The Russian invaders have already created their own “analogues”, but there is one nuance. Soldier Andrei Otchenash stressed that the forests will still be planted, but “the enemy is burning quite brightly.”
The Ukrainian army began to use a new development, the “dragon drones”, at the forefront, and the invaders have already learned how to make their own “analogues”. The commander of the “Kara nebesnaya” UAV crew of the 4th “Rubezh” brigade of the NSU, Andrei Otchenash, spoke about this during a telethon on September 15.
“This is actually a very effective weapon,” he stressed.
The temperature of the incendiary sprayed by the “dragon drones” reached about 2,500 degrees, the military official said.
“So this is an unrealistic temperature achieved through various chemical additives etc,” he said.
According to Otchenash, the “analogues” used by the enemy are different from Ukraine’s “dragon drones.”
“I think these are completely different components, and we see that the Ukrainian components are burning better,” he explained.
The commander said that the “dragon drones” are also effective because of the mixture itself. If it gets on ammunition, generators, equipment, etc., all of them are guaranteed to be destroyed. Otchenash emphasized that the development is “a very disturbing option” for the enemy.
He confirmed that the forests of Ukraine are burning due to the work of “dragon drones” and this is a terrible situation. However, the soldier explained that the war for the survival of the nation continues in Ukraine.
“I hope that in the future we will plant these forests in a new way. The important thing is that the enemy is burning right now and the enemy is burning quite brightly,” he added.
Channel 24 reported that the “dragon drones” spray thermite, a mixture of iron oxide and aluminum oxide granules. They can set fire to a forest belt about 100 meters long in just 20 seconds. What’s more, the burning mixture can even rust iron.
Let us recall that on September 12, footage of the use of a “kamikaze drone” appeared in the Kharkov region. The 3rd Special Operations Brigade said that the new drone “instantly” burned the invaders’ landings.
Later, a new video appeared showing the use of a “dragon drone” in the Pokrovsky direction. It was shown that the UAV can not only fly through forests, but also effectively burn gardens and houses.
