Transport strike on December 13, TAP confirms 24 hours. Salvini’s response December 12, 2024 16

The strike without transport has been reduced to 4 hours. Main Trade Union (MSB) he won a tug-of-war with Infrastructure and Transport Minister Matteo Salvini. But let’s take a small step back. The union, as you know, has announced a transport strike that will last 24 hours. It would start today at 21:00 and end tomorrow, December 13th, again at 21:00. For Italians, this is Black Friday on the transport front.

After a meeting with the unions, the minister decided to sign a decree ordering a strike and reducing its duration to just 4 hours. We talked about this just today. The minister’s choice did not please the base union (USB), which made it clear that it did not intend to comply. Then there was an appeal to the Regional Administrative Court of Lazio. which by monocratic decree accepted the union’s requestthus getting ready suspend the order of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport.

SATISFACTION OF TRADE UNIONS

The union rejoices at the decision of the Regional Administrative Court of Lazio.

TAR Lazio accepts USB’s request to suspend Salvini’s injunction! Tomorrow the strike will become general, regular and legal and will last 24 hours, including in transport. This time the workers are winning and democracy is winning. Thus, the arrogance of Minister Salvini is refuted. Tomorrow will be a good day for democracy.

The strike will therefore last 24 hours and will affect trains, metro, buses, taxis and maritime transport: the aviation sector, which will demonstrate on December 15, is excluded. In addition, two events are planned for tomorrow: one in Rome and one in Milan.

SALVINI: THANKS TO THE JUDGES THERE WILL BE CHAOS
