Best selling LPG cars in Italy in 2024. In the ranking, Dacia Sandero is ahead of everyone on January 11, 2025 1

There are not only petrol, diesel, hybrid and electric. Liquefied petroleum gas continues to be an attractive alternative. In fact, there is a lot of talk about electrification, but in Italy this power source still has an important market share. 2024 is over, and let’s see how things are going in this market segment in our country.

The figures presented by UNRAE are very clear: for the period January-December 2024in our country there were 147,632 registrations. Compared to last year there was little change growth 1.9%. In general, vehicles running on liquefied petroleum gas they occupy 9.4% of the Italian market.. The offer is also becoming more and more interesting. In fact, along with brands that have historically relied heavily on LPG, Kia recently introduced a special Bi Fuel-equipped version of its Niro Full Hybrid for those who want to combine the benefits of a hybrid with those of LPG (here’s our test). .

Going by the numbers, in our country, CNG vehicles sell more than electric and plug-in vehicles combined. In addition, in terms of market share, LPG is not so far from diesel fuel (market share 13.9% in 2024), the volumes of which are constantly declining, month after month.

So, Italians love liquefied petroleum gas. So which models with this power supply will be the best-selling in Italy in 2024?
