For this reason, in the Old Continent the company introduced the Omoda & Jaecoo brand, which is already present in Italy with its first models. 2025 will be a very important year for the Chinese manufacturer, as we already know that it intends to expand the range of cars for sale in Europe to expand its presence. We’ve already seen some of the upcoming models in the Jaecoo lineup. Now let’s focus on Omoda.

There are already Omoda 5 in Italy, the bikes of which we have tried before. A petrol model that is also offered in a 100% electric version, the Omoda 5 EV. For now, let’s see what comes next, at least the main innovations that the Chinese car manufacturer is going to present on Italian roads, about which we already know something.

OMODA 5 SUG

People like LPG in various markets, including Italian, where it can count on a market share of almost 10%. One will also arrive in 2025. LPG version of Omoda 5. Thus, this model could definitely be of interest to Italian buyers. The engine will always remain the same as the petrol version currently on the market, which is a 1.6 4-cylinder turbocharged engine with 147 hp. combined with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.

A unit to which LPG capacity will then be added thanks to the cooperation of the installer. Price? It should cost slightly more than the petrol version, which today starts at €27,900 in Italy.

OMODA 7

Omoda 7 will also arrive in 2025. It’s about new SUV something we’ve talked about several times in the past. The model is designed to provide comfort while traveling. However, there will be a lot of technology. According to some announcements provided by the automaker, the SUV’s seats will have customizable massage functions that target the back, waist, and other parts of the body. There will also be ventilation and heating functions that will work intelligently through the use of sensors to ensure a comfortable sitting experience.

Much attention will be paid to sound insulation. In fact, there will be double-glazed doors and there will also be engine noise reduction technology that detects annoying sound waves at the source using high-precision sensors located in the engine compartment.


When it comes to technology, the board of directors will be dominated by Large 15.6″ horizontally scrollable touchscreen infotainment display so it can also be easily used by the front passenger. The infotainment system is powered by a Qualcomm 8155 chip that provides more than enough processing power to ensure a smooth user experience.

The Omoda 7 will be approximately 4.64 meters long and it looks like the engines will include a plug-in powertrain. The launch is expected in the summer, so news should start rolling in over the next few months.

OMODA 9

It is a large SUV based on the Omoda C9, a model already introduced in some Asian markets. At the moment, we don’t know much about the specifications of the cars that will be offered in European markets. The new SUV should be almost 4.8 meters long and it looks like we will find a purely plug-in hybrid engine under the hood. Either way, we’re sure to learn more in the coming months.
