The prince addressed the children of the British army who died in service.
Prince Harry dressed up as Spider-Man to send a Christmas message to children whose parents died in the British army. They were teamed up and sponsored by Scotty’s Little Soldiers and the video was recorded for it. The Daily Mail writes about it.
The video was shown to more than 100 young children who survived the death of a parent serving in the British armed forces. And it was shown at annual Christmas parties.
“Hello Toy Soldiers Scotty. Welcome to the Christmas party,” said the Duke of Sussex in the video. And he gave the children the task of saving Christmas by defeating the villains who stole Santa’s gifts. Children performed tasks at the “Heroes and Villains” themed party.
“I hope you’ve had some rest before today’s holiday. I’ve heard that there are five bad guys you need to stop ruining Christmas. So use your teamwork, brain and brawn to make sure you get it done Find them and don’t let them ruin it. It is a time we will miss very much.
Harry also said that at the moment many feel guilty for having fun without their parents, but reassured the children that their parents would want them to have a good time.
Harry only finally revealed his identity in both videos by removing his Spider-Man mask and Santa’s beard.
Prince partnered with the charity Scotty’s Little Soldiers in a Memorial Day letter to children in November.
In his message to the children who lost their loved ones, the prince said that he shared his pain with them as he lost a loved one.
This isn’t the first time Prince Harry has donned festive costumes for a charity to convey a heartfelt Christmas message. In 2019, he wore a Santa suit with a long white beard.
Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, are now in the spotlight after releasing the trailer for their Netflix documentary series set to air next Thursday.
The six-part documentary series will tell the story of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s relationship like never before, including remarks from friends and family who have previously avoided talking about their “rapid romance”.
