Delicious and simple. marinated fish recipe

Fish cooked in this way was often served in cafes and canteens before.

The classic marinated fish recipe is familiar to many since childhood. Previously, pollock and hake were prepared in this way. Only in this way can you cook any sea fish that has very few bones and very juicy meat in it.

The recipe is very simple: you only need five ingredients, plus water, spices and vinegar.

Ingredients:

  • Cod fillet – 600 g;
  • Carrots – 400 g;
  • Onion – 400 g;
  • flour – 150 g;
  • Vegetable oil – 90 ml;
  • two bay leaves;
  • seven peas of black pepper;
  • three cloves;
  • Tomato paste – 100 g;
  • Vinegar 9% – 60 ml;
  • sugar – 50 g;
  • Salt, pepper.

Cut the fish fillet into portions. Roll in salt, pepper and flour.

Heat the vegetable oil in a pan and fry the fish over high heat for a minute on each side until golden brown. Put the fish in a clean container.

Cut the onion into half rings, grate the carrots on a coarse grater. Fry the onions and carrots in the same pan by adding oil. Salt, pepper and cook until the carrots are soft. Put the steamed vegetables in a clean bowl.

Return the fish to the pan, add vegetable oil, cover with boiled vegetables. Mix tomato paste with water, vinegar and sugar, pour over fish and vegetables. Add black pepper, cloves and bay leaf, close the lid and cook on low heat for 15-20 minutes.
