Jenna Ortega reveals she cried ‘hysterically’ while filming ‘Wednesday’

The Wednesday star shared her revelations at a Q&A panel hosted by Netflix.

20-year-old actress Jenna Ortega revealed she was crying “hysterically” and pulling her hair out due to Netflix’s busy filming schedule on Wednesday. Variety writes about it.

According to Ortega, filming along with additional cello and swordsmanship lessons pushed him to his limits.

“I had to come to work two hours early, work 12-14 hours a day, then go home, turn on Zoom and do my lesson. Or my cello teacher was already waiting when I got to my apartment,” Ortega recalls.

He started practicing swordsmanship and cello a few months before filming began and continued throughout production. Jenna admitted that the cello piece “Paint It Black” was particularly tiring as it had to be performed by two cellists.

“I couldn’t sleep,” he said, “I was pulling my hair out. There were so many FaceTime calls my dad said I was crying hysterically.”

Ortega said he was “very determined to be as prepared as possible” as he wanted Burton to be able to use as many images of his acting as possible.

Burton tried to console her by saying that the scene would be great no matter what.

Jenna also revealed that she choreographed the iconic dance scene in two days and later learned that she tested positive for COVID-19 during filming.

“[Бертон] “Hey Jenna, I know you said you wanted to do the choreography yourself,” Ortega said. She continued, ‘You’re working on it, I’m not even worried about it. I trust you”.

Let’s remind you that Christina Ricci commented on Jenna Ortega’s game, which appeared in Netflix’s popular series last Wednesday.

Moreover Focus He wrote that Lady Gaga repeated the iconic dance from the TV series “Wednesday” into her own song.
