Star Wars and Harry Potter star Paul Grant dies at 56

British actor Paul Grant, who played in the movies “Harry Potter” and “Star Wars”, has died at the age of 57. He was found unconscious near London’s King’s Cross station on 16 March, and his death was learned on 19 March, according to Sky News. The actor was officially declared dead on March 20 at 3:49 am.

“We received a call to report an incident at St Pancras station on Euston Road at 14:08 on Thursday 16 March. We sent an ambulance and a paramedic in a rapid response vehicle. The celebrity’s death was confirmed by his daughter, Sophie Jane Grant.

The heartbroken woman said, “My heart is broken… No girl deserves to be taken away from her father… She was so well known and loved for her work. She left too soon.”

The actor, whose height is only 132 cm, started to act in films in the 1980s. Grant is best remembered by viewers for his roles in Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi and Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone. He co-starred with Willow in 1988 and David Bowie in the cult classic Labyrinth in 1986. Paul also made a cameo appearance in the movie “Legend” with a young Tom Cruise.

In his youth, the actor abused alcohol and drugs, which affected his career and ruined his marriage to the mother of his three children.

Paul Grant is survived by his two daughters and a son, as well as his adopted children and grandchildren, from his marriage to his girlfriend, Maria, Janet Crowson.
