Contents:
- 1 piece of puff pastry with a diameter of 23 cm;
- 5 large tomatoes, peeled and chopped;
- 4 slices bacon, cooked and chopped
- 1 sweet onion, chopped or minced;
- 1 teaspoon of salt;
- 1/2 teaspoon of pepper;
- 2 tablespoons of milk;
- 120 ml of mayonnaise;
- 170 g spicy cheddar cheese, grated
- 15 g of crushed crackers;
- 2 teaspoons of softened butter;
- 2 green onions (shallots), chopped
Pierce the dough with a fork. Bake in the oven at 180 degrees for about 10 minutes. Fry the bacon until soft. Drain the oil and set aside.
Peel and slice the tomatoes to fill the bottom of the pie. Sprinkle with chopped onion, salt and pepper. Make another layer of tomatoes; salt and pepper (again).
Mix mayonnaise, bacon, cheese and milk. Put it on top and smooth it so that it covers the tomatoes. Mix the crushed crackers and butter. Then sprinkle it on the cake.
Bake at 180 degrees for about 30 minutes or until the stuffing is set. Sprinkle green onions on it.
