Pitt described how he dealt a blow to Jolie’s reputation: What does Ukraine have to do with it?

Pitt’s lawyers are trying to challenge the agreementJolie with the team of the Russian oligarch.

59-year-old Hollywood actor Brad Pitt has claimed that he secretly sold his stake in the French Miraval vineyard to a “Russian oligarch” in order to “harm” and “get rich” as revenge for Angelina Jolie’s attempt to share custody of her six children. Reports .DailyMail.com.

The publication claims that Pitt learned of the deal with Yuri Shefler, a money bag from Russia, from a press release.

As you know, the ex-spouses had a “mutual and binding obligation” in the $160 million Chateau Miraval business, and the two agreed never to sell their shares without the other’s permission. But in 2021, Pitt came across a document stating that he had new business partners, half of which Jolie had sold.

Worse, the buyer was part of a “Russia-linked” vodka conglomerate run by a billionaire oligarch who would use his Hollywood connections to launder his reputation, according to the new document.

According to a document filed with the Los Angeles Supreme Court and obtained exclusively by DailyMail.com, “As the court will show, Jolie’s actions were unlawful, seriously and willfully harmed Pitt and unfairly enriched herself.”

Pitt and Jolie split in 2016, but they still have litigation over finances and child custody. The most recent conflict began with Chateau Miraval, a 35-room property and vineyard they jointly bought for $60 million in 2011, and a protracted business dispute over wedding venues three years later.

In documents submitted to the court this week, Pitt insists he has the right to first reject his ex-wife’s share of the winery in Corran, a village in southern France.

Instead, Jolie sold her winery to Yuri Shefler, tying Chateau Miraval to Russia, the country’s homophobic laws and the invasion of Ukraine, which according to Pitt could potentially damage the reputation of a highly prized rose.

In her counter-claim, Jolie accused Pitt of forcing the Mondo Bongo company to sell “on unreasonable terms” and spreading lies that Shefler was “an ally of Vladimir Putin”. She also claimed that Pitt hid his assets and squandered real estate funds on flashy projects, including a swimming pool and an ornate staircase that was rebuilt four times, she said.

“The only thing true about Jolie’s cross-claim is that she and Pitt purchased Chateau Miraval as ‘a loving home for their six children.’ As noted in the Plaintiffs’ Second Amended Complaint, Pitt and Jolie’s Miraval was a to keep their share and when the time comes, it’s just someone else’s consent,” stress Pitt’s lawyers.
