What happened today?
Today, the Orthodox Church reveres the memory of St. Leontius. He lived in the 9th century, was a monk in the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra and fought against paganism. Once he was expelled from the city, so he settled outside the city, built a church there and baptized people in secret. Leonty performed many miracles throughout his life.
