- 330 g flour;
- 100 milliliters of milk;
- 150 ml of water;
- 4 g dry yeast;
- 1 teaspoon. salt;
- 1 teaspoon. Sahara;
- 200 ml of sour cream or 50 ml of vegetable oil;
- 2 cloves of garlic;
- 300 g cheese
- vegetable oil for frying.
You can have one type of cheese or several. You can use ordinary hard cheese. Gouda, Hollandaise and Grana Padano go well together.
Peel and chop the garlic before cooking. Add to sour cream or butter. Salty season. Mix well and put in the refrigerator. We will need sauce for the finished pancakes.
Rinse the bowl with hot water, dry it and pour in the warm milk. It’s hot, not hot.
Add sugar and salt. To mix up. Add the yeast directly to the flour and sift it into the milk. Add the warm water with the flour little by little. Knead with a spoon or spatula.
The dough will be sticky, but do not add more flour or it will not taste good.
Lubricate the bowl with vegetable oil, put the dough in it, cover it with a towel and leave it for an hour. During this time, the dough will double in size.
Heat the vegetable oil thoroughly in a large pan. Focus on the first light smoke. After that set the temperature slightly higher than the minimum. This will work in a cast iron skillet.
Before frying, grate all the cheese and put sour cream or garlic butter on the side.
Lubricate your hands with vegetable oil, pinch a piece of dough 6-7 centimeters in size, stretch it in your hands, trying not to tear it.
Fry the tortillas for 3 minutes on each side. However, it may take less time.
Lift the edge of the cake slightly and look at the color. It should be confidently rosy.
Place the finished bread on paper towels to absorb excess oil. Immediately brush the bread with sour cream and garlic and top with cheese.
It is better to eat lángos hot, washing it down with kefir or tomato juice.
You can also make delicious fried potato pies.
