According to Philip Kirkorov, the American politician was allegedly a big fan of Alla Pugacheva and it was he who invited her to perform in the USA. The Russian also hoped that Moscow and Washington could improve relations.
Russian artist Philip Kirkorov stated that he was very happy with Donald Trump’s victory in the 2016 US presidential elections, because he claimed that there was a warm relationship between them. About this is written in the Russian media “Secrets of the Stars”.
According to him, when Donald Trump first became president in 2016, he was full of hopes that relations between the countries would change, as they had known each other personally since 1994.
“Donald Trump loves Alla Pugacheva! It was he who invited the singer to give a concert in 1994 at the famous Taj Mahal hall in Atlantic City. Alla and I just got married. “Trump Pugacheva became the first artist from Russia to perform in this legendary place,” said Philip Kirkorov.
The Russian artist continued: They last saw each other in 2013, when the American came to Moscow for the Miss Universe contest. He later became convinced that he was a good and adequate person. He was also still hopeful that Washington and Moscow would allegedly improve relations.
“You know, two great powers like Russia and the USA should live in peace and be friends,” said Philip Kirkorov.
The publication also noted that the Russian artist did not comment on Donald Trump’s victory in 2024.
Let us remind you that on November 22 it became clear which artists were deprived of state awards in Ukraine. The other day, the Verkhovna Rada supported the bill initiated by President Vladimir Zelensky. In total, 34 people were deprived of state awards.
