The leadership of the Turkish aircraft manufacturing company Baykar Makina will build a plant for the production of drones in Ukraine. This was announced on Monday by Ukraine’s Ambassador to Ankara Vasily Bodnar during an interview.
“The plant will be built. Just a week ago, the government approved a bilateral agreement and sent it to parliament for ratification, an agreement on the construction of the plant itself”Bodnar said.
In addition, the diplomat stressed that the owner of the aircraft manufacturing company had already acquired a land plot in Ukraine for the implementation of the announced project.
The ambassador also added that at this stage, the Ukrainian side managed to agree with representatives of Baykar Makina on the use of domestically produced parts in the creation of drones.
Earlier it was reported that Baykar Makina intends to donate three more Bayraktar TB2 unmanned aerial vehicles to Ukraine free of charge.
