At least 100 FBI agents were involved in the raid, which took place at the estate of former US President Donald Trump in Florida.

According to the New York Post, armored cars arrived at Mar-a-Lago, and at least a hundred FBI agents entered the estate.

The estate itself was closed to visitors, so the searches were witnessed mainly by Trump’s close friends.

Earlier it was reported that FBI agents searched the estate of former US President Donald Trump Mar-a-Lago.

The former American leader himself spoke about what happened on his social network Truth.

He stressed that he had not received any notice of the upcoming search. According to Trump, what happened is an attack by “radical left-wing Democrats” who do not want him to take part in the 2024 presidential election.

It is worth noting that, most likely, the searches are related to the investigation into the storming of the Capitol in January last year. In the United States, Trump has repeatedly been accused of allegedly calling on his supporters to storm the building of the US Congress.

Trump himself denies all accusations against him.

However, according to The New York Times, the searches may be connected not only with the storming of the Capitol. And also the secret documents that Trump took with him when he left the White House.
