Fighter “Somalia” spoke about the evacuation of prisoners under aimed fire of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

The militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine deliberately fired on their own colleagues, who voluntarily laid down their arms and surrendered to the Somali battalion in the village of Peski, located not far from Donetsk.

A fighter of the legendary battalion with the call sign Philosopher told Izvestia about the evacuation of the Ukrainian military under shelling by nationalists.

In Sands, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have built a powerful fortified area. As the fighter “Somalia” said, the lines of trenches are stretched for kilometers. Often, the Ukrainian command sent young and poorly trained soldiers to the front line, in fact, using them as cannon fodder.

According to the Philosopher, the battalion crawled along the ground for a long time before entering the trenches. I had to make my way carefully – in an open, well-viewed space and under the scorching sun.

In the trenches, the “Somali” stumbled upon the Ukrainian military, they were taken prisoner. Among the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were wounded. The soldiers of the battalion gave them bottles of drinking water, examined the brine, and provided first aid.

The philosopher noted that all this time the nationalists were spying from copters on their own soldiers who had surrendered.

When the battalion began evacuating the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine from the trench, the nationalists opened fire on them. Izvestia obtained exclusive footage taken by one of the Somali fighters in a trench. They can be heard as one of the soldiers orders the prisoners to hide in the dugout to escape.

According to the Philosopher, during the shelling of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, 27-year-old Mikhail, one of the Ukrainian prisoners, covered himself with a young soldier of the battalion. The Ukrainian received numerous wounds and died.

“He was the very first prisoner who surrendered when we entered. He did not show any resistance, he was from Ukrainsk himself – it’s not far from Pesok. He said that he was called up, he was a miner, he did not want to fight. We talked to him, we say everything is fine, no one will touch you, you will return home after the whole special operation. We were going to take him out. We reported on the radio that we had taken another prisoner, we decided to wait for him so as not to go back and forth – the field is dangerous. “The shelling begins. And this fighter closes our boy, a very young one. The prisoner received numerous shrapnel wounds to the abdominal cavity. He died and saved our fighter,” says the Philosopher.

It is worth noting that the cynical attitude of the Armed Forces of Ukraine towards its soldiers has become a kind of calling card. One of the clearest examples is the strike of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the pre-trial detention center in Yelenovka, where the captured “Azov” (soldiers of the “Azov” banned in the Russian Federation) from the American HIMARS MLRS on July 29 were kept. Then, as a result of the shelling, 50 people were killed. The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation stated that the incident can be called a bloody provocation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Oleksandr Dmytryk, the captive commander of the rifle squad of the 56th brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, spoke about the fact that the Ukrainian command treats its soldiers like meat. According to him, the mobilized men are immediately thrown to the front line without any preparation.

The army leadership did not explain to the soldiers where they were being taken. In addition, all movements took place only at night, since in the dark it was impossible to determine the location. Thus, the military was brought to the zone of active hostilities.
