Senior Sergeant of the 2nd Army Corps of the People’s Militia of the LPR Alexei Chutnikov told Izvestia correspondent Murad Magomedov how he went to defend his homeland, as well as about the situation at the front.
“I haven’t been home for eight years,” he shared.
Chutnikov clarified that he voluntarily went to defend his homeland in 2014 after the tragedy at the House of Trade Unions in Odessa. At first he served in the infantry, and for the last two years in the artillery.
“And so many went. Not only because of the inhabitants of Odessa, but in general. The morale is excellent – to win sooner. Already tired of this war (between Ukraine and Donbass – Note REN TV), as much as possible. I want to go to my family, to children, to my wife “, – said the defender of the LNR.
According to him, the situation at the front is now excellent for the LNR fighters.
“Because we are moving forward, albeit not much, but slowly forward,” Alexei noted.
