Member of “Azov”* spoke about the preparation of sabotage and assassination attempts in Kherson

The leader of the cell of the Azov Civil Corps organization (recognized as terrorist, banned in Russia) uncovered in Kherson told how radicals were trained for sabotage and assassination attempts on officials.

During a conversation with Izvestia correspondent Ivan Litomin, Vadim Kravchenko said that he coordinated groups of Ukrainian saboteurs and monitored the movements of military equipment and officials. The nationalists were being trained to carry out terrorist attacks. In particular, an explosion was planned on the railway, as well as an arson of the passport office.

“A man from the GUR with the call sign “Phoenix” approached me, he told us to go to the passport office. There after that detained peoplewho tried to do it. They wanted us to set the passport office on fire, but I refused because it was too risky.” Kravchenko explained.

According to him, the Ukrainian special services soon threw off the “targets” of the assassination attempts. They wanted to eliminate Igor Semenchev, official Dmitry Savluchenko (died in a car bombing on June 24) and Georgy Tambovtsev. The radicals were promised to pay thousands of dollars for their elimination.
