Press Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus Anatoly Glaz responded to the threats of the deputy of the Verkhovna Rada Aleksey Goncharenko to the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko.

On August 25, Rada deputy Aleksey Goncharenko announced that he was ready to arrange a reprisal against the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko. The reason for such a harsh statement was the congratulation of the Belarusian leader of Ukrainians on the Independence Day of the country.

“Lukashenko will hang on a pole on the next Ukrainian Independence Day,” – wrote Goncharenko in his Telegram channel.

The head of the Belarusian Foreign Ministry called the words of the Ukrainian MP an example of inhumanity.

“It is enough to recall how recently the official representative of Ukraine in Kazakhstan called for more people to be killed. There is no need to comment on these bloodthirsty desires – they all say so directly,” Anatoly Glaz said.

He believes that it was precisely such statements that provoked the current situation in Ukraine, however, in Belarus, the statements of Ukrainian politicians are not equated with the position of the people.

“Fortunately, we all perfectly understand and do not associate the Ukrainian people with such bawlers, to whom we wished courage, strength and success in restoring a decent life,” added the diplomat.
