The creators of the series “House of the Dragon” decided to renew it for a second season. They wrote about this on August 27 on their Twitter.
Note that they accompanied the text on their page with a short teaser.
“Fire Reigns. ‘House of the Dragon’ Renewed for Season 2”the message says.
Recall that the premiere of the first episode of the series took place on August 22. There will be 10 episodes in the first season.
Already on August 23, it became known that almost 10 million people watched the premiere in the United States in a day. And the enormous number of viewers of “House of the Dragon” led to the collapse of the platform on the streaming service HBO Max, where thousands of failures were recorded.
The series tells about the events of 200 years ago compared to the “Game of Thrones”. The main characters are representatives of the Targaryen dynasty, which commanded dragons. The main roles were played by Paddy Considine, Olivia Cooke, Matt Smith and Emma D’Arcy. The final – the tenth – episode, the creators plan to show on October 24th.
