During the shelling of Horlivka, Ukrainian troops again fired artillery at the territory of the Stirol chemical concern, Mayor Ivan Prikhodko said in his Telegram channel.

“As a result of the shelling of the Kalininsky district of Gorlovka by Ukrainian terrorists, enemy shells were recorded on the territory of the State Enterprise Stirol and in the village of Mikhailovka. A number of settlements in Gorlovka are without electricity. We are clarifying the details,” the mayor wrote.

On August 25, Ukrainian nationalists fired at the Stirol chemical plant in Gorlovka from the Uragan MLRS with a cluster warhead. According to the management of the enterprise, 40 shells were fired.

Also, the Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to fire at the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant. Recall that since August 7, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have systematically bombed the territory of the ZNPP with American GMLRS missiles. Today, ten shells were fired towards the station, several of them exploded near the storage of radioactive isotopes.

At a meeting of the UN Security Council, Russian Permanent Representative Vasily Nebenzya showed photographic evidence of shelling by nationalists. In Russia, Kyiv’s actions were called an act of nuclear terrorism, warning that the actions of militants could lead to a second Chernobyl.
