British authorities are developing ways to combat the riots that could be caused by rising electricity prices, writes The Sun.
“As the crisis gathers momentum, The Sun on Sunday may report that ministers are bracing for a wave of crime as the cost of living rises and possible unrest. Government officials have drawn up plans to deal with the riots,” says the tabloid.
According to the British Bureau for National Statistics, for the first time since 1997, the state was left without Russian energy sources. Previously, the Russian Federation was the largest supplier of the resource to the territory of Britain. For example, last year Russia’s share in the supply of petroleum products was more than 24 percent.
