Novak urged oilmen to unite for the development of the Russian Federation under sanctions

In order to overcome the consequences of the economic restrictions of the West, domestic oilmen must combine their efforts and competencies and strive for the further development of the energy industry. This was announced on Sunday by Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Alexander Novak during the congratulations to industry employees on their professional holiday.

“Today, in the face of external pressure on the economy of our country, including the oil and gas complex, it is especially important to combine our efforts and competencies. To unite and jointly overcome the current challenges on the way to the further progressive development of the industry,” Novak said.

In addition, the Deputy Prime Minister stressed that Russia is currently the leader in the global energy market. According to him, the domestic industry and energy sector have not only a serious resource base, but also a developed infrastructure.

“I thank all the workers and veterans of the industry for your work, diligence and dedication”, he concluded.
