Private school teacher arrested for having sex with student

In the American city of Tampa (Florida), a school teacher was arrested on suspicion of sexual relations with a minor student. Writes about it newspaper The New York Post.

The publication material says that 42-year-old Jamie Melton taught English at the famous private school Carrollwood Day School. As specified, the cost of education in this educational institution is about 25 thousand dollars (1.5 million rubles) per year.

The woman was charged with sexual assault. According to the laws of Florida, this act can be understood as any sexual acts, including oral and anal sex.

The name, gender, and age of the educator’s victim were not released. However, from the appeal of the school management to the parents of the students, it is clear that the victim was over 12 and under 18 years old.

Carrollwood Day School Principal Sarah Rubenstein said Melton had an impeccable teaching record and her behavior in the past did not raise any questions from the school.

After the arrest, the teacher was suspended from work at the school.

Earlier it was reported that teacher Denali Murphy from the US state of Massachusetts will be convicted of seduction and sex with a 14-year-old teenager.
