American actor Tom Cruise will play a role in the film directed by Doug Liman, the filming of the film will take place in outer space, writes The New York Post.
Cruise will head to the International Space Station on a rocket.
“That’s the plan. Tom and I have a great project in the works… Get a rocket to the space station and shoot a movie there.”Donna Langley of Universal Filmed Entertainment said.
Langley added that the main part of the film will be filmed on Earth, and Cruise’s character will fly into space to “save the day.” Cruz will be “the first civilian to perform a spacewalk outside the ISS,” she said.
