The Kyiv authorities are introducing a special certificate for Ukrainian citizens who wish to return to their country from Russia, Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmygal said.
“The government is launching a document – an identity card for returning to Ukraine”he wrote in his Telegram channel.
To obtain the document, Shmyhal recommended contacting the Ukrainian migration service.
Earlier it was reported that on July 1, Ukraine banned entry into the country for Russians without visas.
On September 6, Deputy Foreign Minister Andrei Rudenko recalled that the Russian-Ukrainian agreement on a visa-free regime between the countries will expire on January 1, 2023.
On September 9, the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs noted that Moscow was not going to mirror the introduction of the visa regime by the Kyiv authorities.
