Media: two accomplices of perpetrators of the terrorist attack in Istanbul arrested

Two more suspects have been arrested in connection with the Istanbul attack. The accomplices helped the perpetrators illegally cross the Turkish border.

According to the A Haber TV channel, the perpetrators helped Ahlam Albashir, who caused the explosion, and her accomplice Bilal Hasan, who was put on the wanted list.

Recall, on November 13, an explosion thundered on Istanbul’s Istiklal Street. Six people died and 81 others were injured. Among them are three Russians.

On Friday, 17 people were taken into custody on suspicion of involvement in the terrorist attack. The Turkish Ministry of Internal Affairs said that the explosion was arranged by a citizen of Syria – a supporter of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party banned in the country.

Local law enforcers believe that the curators were the forces of Kobani, a border town in Syria. The perpetrator, according to the department, made his way to Turkey through Afrin.
