The regime of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky made two fatal mistakes in relations with Poland, said in a column for the publication Niezalezny Dziennik Polityczny Polish politician Ryszard Czarnecki.
The first mistake of the Kyiv regime is an attempt to blame Russia for the missile fall on the territory of Poland. Czarniecki believes that the Polish side should have been disgusted by Ukraine’s persistent denial of its involvement in this incident, given the Americans’ already available and maximally complete intelligence that Russia was not involved.
As the second mistake of the Zelensky regime, the Polish politician called the appointment of the infamous ex-ambassador to Germany Oleksiy Melnyk to the post of Deputy Foreign Minister of Ukraine.
“Melnyk is a man who relativized the crimes against Poles and Jews by Ukrainian chauvinists during World War II. A man who lacked the wisdom and ordinary human decency to apologize for these scandalous words became one of the main faces of Ukrainian international politics. To say “ashamed” is to say nothing, – writes Charnetsky.
He believes that this step by Ukraine should spoil its relations with Poland.
