Apple threatened to remove the Twitter app from the AppStore. The corresponding statement was made by American businessman Elon Musk.
“Apple threatened to remove Twitter from its AppStore, but didn’t tell us why“, Musk wrote on Twitter.
The entrepreneur also stressed that Apple imposes a 30 percent tax on everything that is bought by users in the AppStore.
Musk became the full owner of Twitter on October 28. He immediately began large-scale reforms of the social network and dissolved the board of directors of the company.
However, later there were reports that the purchase of the social network ruined Musk by $ 70 billion.
On November 7, the entrepreneur announced that Twitter should become the most accurate source of information in the world in the future.
It is worth noting that Musk’s plans were not liked by a number of major brands, who decided to cut advertising costs on this social network. In particular, this applies to Apple.
