Not only the embassy: the company supplying weapons to Ukraine also received a package with bombs, – media

During a large-scale special operation, a suspicious package was blown up in a controlled manner.

In addition to the Ukrainian Embassy in Madrid, the package, possibly containing explosives, was received by the Spanish company Instalaza, which produces weapons for Kiev’s needs. El Periodico writes about it, citing its knowledgeable sources.

According to journalists, on the afternoon of Wednesday (November 30th), law enforcement officers received information from the Instalaza administration that they had received a suspicious package with markings similar to the one sent to the Ukrainian Embassy in Madrid.

“The national police, armed forces and local police launched a large operation after receiving the information. More patrols were sent to the Instalaza facility and the area was cordoned off, as a result of which traffic and pedestrians were closed on many streets. Some citizens were advised to lower the blinds,” he said.

The publication states that after a few hours the explosives detonated the package in a controlled manner and the special operation took place without loss of life or injury. In response, the police began collecting physical evidence to determine the contents of the package sent to the company’s office.

Instalaza is a Zaragoza-based company specializing in the design and manufacture of military infantry equipment. The publication El Periodico claims that this company manufactures weapons that the Spanish government sent to Ukraine to protect against the Russian Armed Forces. In particular, the Armed Forces of Ukraine received more than a thousand anti-tank systems manufactured by Instalaza.

Recall that on November 30 there was an explosion near the Ukrainian embassy in Madrid. The package, which was sent personally to the Ukrainian ambassador in Spain, exploded. As a result of the explosion, an employee of the diplomatic department was injured, but nothing threatening his life.

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba described the explosion near the Ukrainian embassy in Madrid as an attack on the diplomatic department and promised that those responsible would be severely punished.

Spanish Ambassador Serhiy Pogoreltsev confirmed that the explosive package that exploded near the Ukrainian embassy in Madrid was aimed at him. According to the diplomat, the commander of the diplomatic department managed to throw the box, but his hands were injured by the blast wave.
