Raheem Sterling will return to the 2022 World Cup in Qatar after leaving the England squad after being robbed of his family.

Raheem Sterling was absent from England’s last game although it wasn’t necessary English team beat Iran 6-2 without the services of a Chelsea striker.

However, now with a new duel at the door, before France in the quarter-finals of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, their imbalance, speed and shot could be decisive.

Exactly because of this reason the player will return to the national team in Qatar on Friday, the day before the quarter-finals against his French counterpart. This was announced on Thursday by the English Football Federation (FA).

Recall that Sterling left the team’s concentration due to a kidnapping and robbery suffered by his family on English soil, the reason why he was not in front of Iran and had to leave the country to return to England.

Although he himself would be on Qatari soil, He is not expected to be considered by Gareth Southgate in the starting XI and he may even remain on the bench for the entire game against the French. This is due to the fact that he had no training in the last four days, as well as the long distances covered by the striker in the last few hours.

France vs England will see the fight on Saturday 10th December and it is expected to be a great match at Al Bayt Stadium. The game starts at 2:00 pm ET, 11:00 am PT. and one of them will come out to play in the semi-finals of the World Cup.
