The feeling of joy among the British from helping refugees from Ukraine over time was replaced by shame because of the desire to return to normal life. The corresponding statement was made by The Daily Mail journalist Jenny Murray.

She stressed that the program “Houses for Ukraine” has been operating in Britain for ten months. And now the difficulties associated with it are already very acutely felt.

Murray sympathized with the British, who accepted the refugees, but after a long time they are already complaining about the lack of money to support the Ukrainians.

In general, in general, the British are most concerned about the catastrophic lack of funds. Keeping Ukrainian migrants at your own expense is a very expensive pleasure.

Murray noted that the British are very concerned that they may be asked to become financial guarantors when their guests rent private accommodation.

Earlier it was reported that in the UK the number of homeless Ukrainian refugees increased by a third in just a month.

More than two thousand families with children found themselves homeless. The British, who had previously hosted the Ukrainians, stopped supporting them. The fact is that the program “Houses for Ukraine” is coming to an end.
