Two former Twitter employees are suing the billionaire in federal court, alleging last month’s sudden layoffs female employees are disproportionately affected women.
The lawsuit, filed in San Francisco federal court, alleges that during the mass layoffs taken by Musk in early November, 57% of female employees were firedcompared to less than half of the men, despite more men working at Twitter before the layoff.

“Twitter mass layoffs affected female employees to a much greater extent than male employees, and to a very statistically significant extent,” Liss-Riordan wrote in a document filed with authorities.
