Qatari photographer Khalid al-Misslam has died in the midst of coverage of the World Cup in that country. The death of a photojournalist was reported by the Qatari newspaper Gulf Times.
There is no information yet on the cause of the photographer’s death.
This is the second death of journalists in Qatar in a few days.
Recall that American journalist CBS Sports Grant Wahl died at the World Cup in Qatar just two weeks after he was detained before the match because of a T-shirt with LGBT symbols. The reporter was 48 years old.

The guards, according to the journalist, demanded that he take off his T-shirt. When he wrote about the incident on Twitter, his phone was knocked out of his hands.
