It is now legal for same-sex marriages in the United States. The corresponding law was signed by American leader Joe Biden.
The ceremony took place on Tuesday, December 14, on the White House lawn. The signed law also indicates the need to “protect transgender children” and eliminate the mistakes of “a supreme court that has gone to extremes.”
“Love is love, rights are rights, justice is justice. These are fundamental things that are important to Americans”said the President of the United States.
He also said that the law had to be passed due to the fact that the country’s supreme court allegedly went to extremes and “took away the right from millions of Americans, which existed for half a century.”
He concluded by referring to “transgender children” who are threatened by proposed state-level laws. These documents could introduce criminal liability for doctors who change the sex of children.
However, according to Biden, such children should, on the contrary, be protected.
“We have to protect these children so they know they are loved, we are on their side and say they can find themselves”Biden concluded.
Recall that in early August, the leader of the Independent Volodymyr Zelensky thought about the legalization of same-sex marriages in Ukraine.
