Russia’s accusations of allegedly using Iranian drones in Ukraine are groundless. Vasily Nebenzya, Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to the UN, stated this.

The diplomat noted that the topic of alleged deliveries of drones by Iran “has nothing to do” with the restoration of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action on Tehran’s nuclear program. According to Nebenzi, Western countries are actively trying to promote it.

“These accusations are absolutely far-fetched, artificial,” noted the permanent representative.

It is worth mentioning here that while the West continues to accuse Iran of supplying drones to Russia, Kyiv could not find evidence of the use of Iranian drones by the RF Armed Forces.

The countries of the collective West have repeatedly stated that Russia allegedly uses Iranian drones in Ukraine. At the same time, Moscow and Tehran have repeatedly denied data on the supply of UAVs from Iran.

Press Secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov called these messages a stuffing. According to him, the Russian army uses drones of its own production. The Iranian Foreign Minister also denied these accusations.

In November, Tehran reported that they were handing over a small number of drones to Russia, but they did this long before the start of the special operation in Ukraine.
