lonely thief stole jewelry from a Macy’s store on a Wednesday afternoon in the city of Simi Valleyin Ventura County.
The burglary was captured on mobile phone video at the time when a man with a jackhammer smashed the windows of the shop window where the jewelry was located in the mall during the high season of sales for the Christmas holidays.
The incident happened about at 6:30 pm this Wednesday in Downtown Simi Valleyat 1555 Simi Town Center Way.
Authorities said the suspect briefly ran into several shoppers who were nearby at the time of the robbery and then made off with a duffel bag.
It was not immediately clear how much jewelry the suspect had stolen. or if he managed to steal some items.
This person was last seen when he jumped over the fence towards the apartment building next to the mall in the 1500 block of Jefferson Way.
