According to the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, on Monday, January 2, Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki announced that he had a meeting with Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal, after which the post of the Verkhovna Rada disappeared.

“This is a sign that the Ukrainians are listening to our voices. I want to make it clear that the Polish state does not accept the honor of Stefan Bandera, the ideologue of Ukrainian nationalists, who killed tens of thousands of Poles in Volhynia,” Mularczyk said. .

The Deputy Minister also noted that what the Polish government and the Poles are doing now is much more valuable for Ukraine.

“I think this signal was received because this recording was lost,” Mularczyk added.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Poland emphasized that historical issues are a very important element in the relations between the two countries.
