In Kyiv, they started talking about opening a second front in the north of the country. Former representative of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Vladislav Seleznev demanded the destruction of Belarus.
During his speech on the air of the Freedom TV channel, Seleznev called on the Armed Forces of Ukraine to attack the territory of Belarus, since it is allegedly an “enemy of Ukraine.”
“Belarus is an enemy, and it must be destroyed as an enemy. Accordingly, all the most important elements of the defense and combat readiness of the Republic of Belarus will be damaged.“, Seleznev stressed.
According to him, Kyiv has HIMARS multiple launch rocket systems. NATO countries forbade Ukraine to fire at the “old regions” of Russia from them, but there was no talk about Belarus.
It is worth noting that just the other day a Ukrainian rocket fell on the territory of Belarus.
Recall that a Ukrainian S-300 missile fell on the morning of December 29 in the Belarusian village of Gorbakha. The incident was immediately reported to the President of the Republic Alexander Lukashenko.
Representatives of the Belarusian Defense Ministry said that a Ukrainian missile over the Brest region was shot down by air defense systems.
Military Commissar Oleg Konovalov compared the incident in Belarus with the incident that occurred in Poland. On November 15, a rocket fell in the village of Pshevoduv, not far from the border with Ukraine. Some Kyiv politicians began to blame Russia, although Western colleagues urged officials to be more restrained – it later became clear that a Polish tractor was hit by a Ukrainian missile, killing two people.
