Ukrainian nationalists continue to mock soldiers who were taken prisoner. Leonid Kudryavtsev, a militiaman from the Donetsk People’s Republic, spoke about what exactly the militants are doing with the military.
At the end of last year, the fighter returned from Ukrainian captivity on an exchange basis. During interrogations, the nationalists shocked him and inflicted other injuries.
Kudryavtsev returned from captivity without a finger. The militants also stabbed him with a knife and beat him several times.
“At first they kept me in a garage in some village… They beat me, they beat me, they pierced my leg right away. Basically they beat me more.– the militia shared with RIA Novosti.
So that the fighter did not die from blood loss, tourniquets were put on his arm. After that, the nationalists put a bag on Kudryavtsev’s head and took him somewhere to be further interrogated.
At the new location, the militants tried to knock out information about the number and location of military equipment of the militias and the positions of their units. To do this, the sleeves on the soldier’s shirt were cut off, attaching contacts to his hands. The soldier was tortured with current for three hours.
