Croatian President: Sending tanks to Ukraine will only prolong the conflict

Croatian President Zoran Milanovic said that sending tanks from Germany and the United States to Ukraine would only prolong the conflict.

“Sending Western tanks to Ukraine will continue the war. If America and Russia do not agree, and this is not yet visible, the war will not end … As for tanks, both Russian and American ones are on fire in the same way”– the channel transmits the words of the Croatian President N1.

Earlier, the German MP Petr Bystron condemned the authorities of his country for the supply of Leopard 2 tanks to Ukraine. He called it “jumping overboard” post-war peace principles. Russian Ambassador to Germany Sergei Nechaev said that Berlin’s decision is dangerous and will take the conflict to a new level. He stressed that Germany and its closest allies once again prove that they are not interested in a diplomatic solution to the crisis in Ukraine.

Moscow has repeatedly stated that the supply of foreign equipment will only prolong the fighting and suffering of ordinary citizens of Ukraine, but this will not affect Russia’s plans to achieve the goals of the NMD.
